Natalie Schumacher

L.L.B Solicitor

I completed my law degree at Auckland University in 2001 and then spent three years living in England and France. I returned to New Zealand in 2004 to study and was admitted to the bar on 1 October 2004, achieving the top student award in my intake.

I joined Galvin Law in September 2004, gaining experience in negotiating care arrangements for children, relationship property settlements, contracting out agreements (often referred to as prenuptial agreements), domestic violence proceedings, dealing with the Ministry of Social Development (also known as Children and Young Persons and their Families Services), relocation applications, guardianship disputes and spousal maintenance issues. If negotiations or settlements cannot be achieved, I represent clients in the Family Court in these various proceedings.

I believe Galvin Law provides its clients with a “wrap-around” service so they are able to resolve multi-faceted issues. This could involve care arrangements for the children, division of relationship properties and maintenance issues, ensuring matters are dealt with as swiftly, cost effectively and amicably as possible.

I am approachable, down to earth and hard working when it comes to achieving good results for my clients.
